Outfield view for batting

Does anyone play this way?

Honestly, it's hard at first, like really hard. But if you practice and adjust your eyes to the pitch plus pay attention to what the catcher is doing, you can acclimate pretty quick.

It reminds me of bases loaded and it's a very fun way to play this game. It's equivalent to playing Broadcast cam in Madden imo.

I've played this way for years! I like the tv/broadcast feel. There are a few drawbacks... Better view of stadium from catcher, a little easier to time pitches, and also easier to tell whether balls are inside or outside. I stuck with it and would have no other way!

This is the only way I play. Can't stand the behind the plate views. The problem is that with some stadiums, they've put annoying white logos behind the plate on the grass (Yankee stadium being one of them), and on the backstop which sometimes obstructs the view of ball. Slight cam adjustments are needed on these.

I also only play in this view. While it is a bit tougher to judge inside and outside, I find it much easier to judge if a pitch is high or low. Also, in addition to seeing what the catcher is doing, you can also often times see the pitcher’s grip.It kind of feels like cheating but oh well.
