Broken records.

What records have you guys broken (in franchise, not Road to The Show)? I have battled with the "too many home runs," issue all year but I've finally just said screw it, I'm done adjusting sliders and just rolled with it.

I doubt I'll break the all-time record of 73 but right now Schwarber is on pace for 68-69 home runs, which would set a new Cubs franchise record, breaking Sammy Sosa's mark of 66 set in 1998.

I'm probably going to break the all-time home run total set by a team. The NL record is 249 held by the 2000 Houston Astros and the AL record is 264 held by the 1997 Seattle Mariners. Right now I'm on pace for 266 as a team.

Re: Broken records.

Through 36 games I am on pace to hit 72 HRs with Freddie Freeman. If I had Matt Adams the whole year and he was playing everyday, he would probably be on pace to hit around the same. He has hit 5 HRs in like 15 ABs since I have traded for him.

On another note, I don't think I am seeing too many homeruns overall as I am ranked somewhere in the low 20s. I was dead last before trading for Adams.

What type of hitting do you use? I'm using zone and I'm having a hard time hitting any homeruns at all. I think I only have like 55 as a team and I'm a few games before the all star break in my blue Jays franchise.

Re: Broken records.

Not a broken record but in a cool moment I hit Albert Pujols' career home runs 714,715,and 716 in Yankee Stadium to pass Babe Ruth.
