I personally really enjoy the fact that they included career numbers for hitters vs. a certain pitcher. If only they could expand on this and include it into the statistics page. It would be great to see this implemented within the lineup screen. When selecting your lineup you should see the batter's career batting average facing that specific pitcher. I like The Show's increase in use of statistics and would make it even more strategic. Strategy is what to me makes The Show and all sports game fun to play. It represents true realism.

I don't think this feature works in carryover saves because I haven't seen it once in the complete season I just finished, which sucks because it adds so much depth to franchise.

In addition to further stat presentation improvements, I wish there was some how a way to implement that certain players cant hit the curveball or doesnt hit well against lefties (or righties), sort of anti-quirk badge, if you will.
I dont know what limits they've reached with the ps4, but maybe the ps5 will be able to include almost limitless stat presentation.

I wish the makers of The Show, Madden, NBA 2K, etc would come out with two games every year. Make one the role playing-type game and the other a pure simulator that focuses on franchise play. They'd have more available space to make each game better. I personally have zero interest in the role playing aspect and would rather see the simulation/franchise side be developed the best it can.

I bet if RTTS and DD were put on a separate disc there would be room for a full slate of MiLB teams, instead of basically just 2 per team. Then maybe franchise could be as customisable as OOTP, rename coaches, managers, even umps and scouts. also custom schedules.
but I bet the RTTS/DD version would outsell the Franchise Show, I think we're a dying breed and theres just so much money waiting to be made off of online, RTTS and DD
