I like that injuries are tied to stamina/durability in pitchers but for position players I do wish it was a separate attribute.
For pitchers, no less an authority than Dr. James Andrews says the biggest factor in injuries is overuse.
He also notes insufficient rest and pitching while fatigued as primary factors to pitcher injuries, (which in my mind are both the same as his previous stated biggest factor of overuse) before he finally notes a primary factor that isnt stamina related: poor mechanics.

Pitchers HAVE a separate stamina rating that refers to pitching specifically. I don't know if pitching into the danger zone -- where there's a "!" by your stamina meter -- increases injury risk or simply reduces effectiveness. Durability for pitchers, then, is almost completely an injury risk rating since energy doesn't play into it at all.

Re: Fatigue Remedies?

I have noticed a sharp decrease in fielding ability when fatigued and lack of speed.
