Angry 90 OVR, 3.25 Career ERA, DFA'd before Start of Playoffs. WTF?

I think the subject tells you everything you need to know. There is zero reason this should have happened. The RTTS GM logic is broken. Plain and simple.

Must not be a team player.

Did he blame his catcher for allowing too many stolen bases?

Actually the subject tells us very little.

Are you a starter, reliever or closer.

Were you DFA'd because someone came off the DL.

What were all your numbers, not just ERA.

I'm not saying its a good reason but I wouldnt be surprised if player options played a role in the CPU GM's decision

Starting pitcher, #2 in the rotation, MLB Ace in player comparison.

9-14, 3.54 ERA
2 CG, 2 SHO
1.13 WHIP
178 IP, 174 K, 37 BB, 154 H

24yr old pitcher with a 95 ADJ OVR with 1 minor league option left. I could maybe see the DL angle but there would be no reason to DFA.

I also got sent back to the minors in the middle of the season for no apparent reason after I threw a 4 hit shutout.
