I'm sure it's been said, but you have to move up a difficulty. On HoF, I've had multiple not so great defenders let moderately hit grounders go right over their glove because they play it off to the side. Infuriates me to no end, but is probably accurate based on how bad fielders play.

There is no fielding difficulty, lots of misinformation being spread in this thread.

Your right, there is technically no fielding difficulty, but there is throwing difficulty, which will give you more throwing errors, but it wont have any influence on actual fielding errors.
I dont think upping hitting or pitching difficulties has any impact on fielding as some here seem to think, but maybe Im wrong, but Ive not ever noticed any difference in fielding, ising dynamic diffuculty, whether Im at veteran or legend, fielding seems the same. Only when raising throwing difficulty do I see my errors increase due to bad throws.
