I have everything set to manual and they still change stuff whenever a player comes off the DL or when someone gets injured or when someone gets called up or sent down.

You have to resolve any roster issues before advancing the day. For instance, if you have too many players on the MLB roster and advance to the next day, the AI will send someone down.
Other than that, I can't think of anything the AI has done without my permission.Comment

No.
When something happens, injury or guy coming back from DL, you'll get a notification to fix whatever roster issue has taken place. You'll have the options of either:
AUTO - which means the CPU/AI will make the necessary roster moves to fix whatever roster issue has taken place
FIX ________ - which means that you'll be taken to the roster management/lineups/rotation screen to make the necessary moves to correct whatever roster issue has taken place.
Just remember when the notification pops up on screen telling you there is an issue with your roster, do not select AUTO, and you'll be good to go.

I'm not gonna say you're just wrong because I don't know what you're experiencing, but be sure you're not quickly pressing X or anything after games and missing the notifications because I've never had the game just make adjustments for me when I have everything on Manual.Comment

Actually the same thing happens to me and I know I'm not hitting x. I cannot keep 25 on the roster and I have no one on the DL. The CPU sends my backup catcher to the minors no matter how many times I try to call him up. Everything is set to manua.Comment

When you say everything is set to manual, you're referring to BOTH the toggles on the main menu screens AND the mode specific options from the settings screen? That tricks a lot of people...Comment

Yep. Everything is set to manual not only on the Game Specific Mode screen, but also the main screen itself. I first noticed it when 1.10 came out and I was hoping 1.11 would address it because I think someone reported it in the bug/glitch thread. Very odd.Comment
