    No expanded rosters Sept. 1?

    I could've sworn this was possible in 17? I must've missed something.

Rosters in the Show expand once your minor league teams complete their season, whether that be at the end of the regular season or after their post season run.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Once the minor league regular season ends you can manually bring up extra players even if your minor league teams make the playoffs. Otherwise, once their post season run comes to an end the CPU will automatically bring up everyone on your 40man.

            You're right.

Thanks for mentioning that for the OP.

This is one of my pet peeves with The Show. I don't know why you can' just manually start bringing players up on September 1. There's even a comment about it on the daily radio show on September 1 about how it's September and rosters have expanded.

I think it is an attempt to force "realistic" organizational management; most real life organizations will not strip minor league franchises that are involved in their post season just to give players a few extra days of experience (real minor league clubs have to make money just like a big league club). I think that is what The Show is "simulating," albeit in a broad and inelegant manner.
