You could also try playing on dynamic and play about 10 games or so and see what level it takes you to and then when it evens out, you can either take the dynamic slider to 0 (which will keep you where its at) or go to game settings and set it to where dynamic has you. IE: hitting All-star, pitching HOF etc.

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)

Played 3 innings on All-Star the only thing i noticed about the difference between the two is the AI pitches around the batter.

You'll need a larger sample size than 3 innings.

I say play 10 games and see how it feels afterwards

the thing about common sense, it's not that common.

simple: turn difficulties up, and mess with sliders.

Any tips would be great
1 - play with a sandwich in one hand. or a beer.
2 - trade away your best hitter and pitcher for a song and dance.
3 - wear the darkest sunglasses you can find while playing.
4 - multitask. play while vacuuming, or folding laundry, or whatever other chores need doing.
5 - if all else fails, play on dynamic difficulty.

Re: Any tips on making the game harder

Also, your team is currently up 2-1 in Game 6 of the World Series. That might make it a bit easier. Try downloading the 1987 rosters, the Dodgers finished 4th that year. And put the difficulty to Legend. Might lose a game or two then.

Fortunately as a Cub fan, there are all sorts of rosters out there for rotten years they had. Sometimes I have to do eenie-meenie-meinie-moe to decide if I want to use the 1983, 85, 87, 90, 94, 97, or 05 rosters.

But yeah. Legend. Provides a nice challenge, and it's satisfying when you do win.
