Any tips on making the game harder

So when i first got MLB The Show 17 i put the hotting Diff on rookie played like 6 in game week on that Diff said i better raise the difficulty up right ? Now 2 weeks before the season is ending and the dodgers are 131-18 kershaw is 28-0 with 0.49 ERA and meada is 28-1.50 ERA and 4 players in my lineup have 45+ HR

so do you guys think the CPU didn't catch up to the difficulty chang

How i play

Hitting: buttons
Feilding Auto ( all i do is the the SS fields is to throw it to the base
Base Running: auto

I'm confused. What difficulty are you on now? All I was able to figure out was that you were once on rookie and your stats are far better than your expectations.

Spoiler

Increase the difficulty level to All-Star on both and see how that works out. If still too easy then go up to Hall of Fame. If still too easy go up to Legend.
