ugh you guys just aren't seeing what i'm saying about hitting. no idea what your acronyms stand for BRUNSELPOWER

hitting is very much in the user's hands on Legend. Not so much in a online DD game on All-Star. I am certain if anyone of you was truly elite you could take the San Diego Padres to the WS on Legend.

For me and the way I play the game (everyone is different) with classic pitching and directional hitting its like playing Statis-Pro and Strato-Matic baseball.

It’s glorious.

MLBTS 17 is by no means a perfect game.

Hitting for me has never, ever been better than on 17. The hit variety is unmatched. The fielding animations and humanity AI is fantastic.

9 out of 10 for offline

3 out of 10 for online

I fully expect to see gameplay tuned more for 18, and I am very hopeful they have some surprises for us in franchise mode and presentation. It needs a refresh.

It's amazing how diverse things are when it comes to analyzing this game. What one sees, another doesn't. What one criticizes and says needs to be "fixed" another says "no, don't touch it, it's fine".

For me, I agree with the above quote. Others will criticize even that. It's a game that just can't please everyone. It's a game and a pretty good one.

There are many that do not play the game at all either offline or online. As an online gamer exclusively, this game was a steaming pile for yours truly.

Never liked online, and don't play it. Strictly off line, game shines for me.

I agree with everything except the batting cursor. Like a previous poster mentioned, it would make the game seem too "arcadey". Maybe SDS can come up with a way to keep the same hitting mechanic but give the player more control over the outcomes
