Re: '18 MUST upgrades - between pitch animations

I bought a PlayStation 4 in 2013 just because of this series and waited for MLB 14. Just under 4 years later, my PS4 is 2000 miles away and it belongs to someone else. They don't care about the fundamentals of simulation gameplay so topics like these are the lowest priority to those who matter. Granted, they do have a lot of other serious issues to prioritize, such as online and various features and physics to be added or improved. When the series thrived on the PS3 era, one of the motto's they embraced was "the little things". I'd like to know what the motto is now.

I would love to see less of the "180 hop and spin" the pitchers do after a ball is put in play/strikeout. I feel like I see that animation 95% of the time.

Re: '18 MUST upgrades - between pitch animations

I will respectively and whole heartedly disgaree.

I have played all the other sports games and the only one that is ahead of them in terms of immersion/presentation is NBA 2K18

Madden and NHL? Come on.

Same game as PS3? Absolutely not.

The ball physics are a total game changer.

Agree to disagree.

And I don’t sugar coat and stroke these guys egos. I have had meaningful and constructive discussions with devs from SDS.

They are not perfect nor is their game.

It replicates their respective sport better than any other sports game on the market IMO.

And if you are not using Sounds of The Show you are missing out on a major immersion feature that makes playing franchise mode amazing.

Re: '18 MUST upgrades - between pitch animations

Ok while we are talking about things that need to get addressed..the stamina issue in season or franchise mode makes both modes tough to swallow at times..if you play an extra inning game your team becomes all but done and very tough to recover from...managing a bullpen can be all but impossible once u have a starter go less then 5 or 6 innings...and if a starter throws a 100 pitches 4 days off is not enough to fully recover should not normally be the case...and a half day off DHing does almost nothing to energize a player...and a player should not need 2 days off in a row to recoup from playing for a week...every regular MLB player plays over 150 games and not factoring injuries are playing atleast at 80%...that would be impossible as it stands now in the show or they would bat under 200 as performance greatly suffers, probably too much when tired...hopefully I'm not the only one who feels this way

Fr tho! It wouldnt be that hard to just add a larger variety of animations. Thats all we really need is a larger variety of things to happen.
