Digital Download vs Disc

Digital Download and physical are the exact same in this generation when playing the game - they both install to the HDD and because of that, the load times are the same.

It only spins the disc at game startup.

As others have said, "yes" download to your primary 1st. I DL digital every year. Just be aware that you must maintain an internet connection the entire time on the secondary/tertiary, etc... I've had my internet go down before and couldn't play on my secondary one.

sports games I don't see a reason to buy it on disk anymore as it gets replaced a never used again after a year.

Also here in Aust I have no choice for Digital anyway. plus with time zones will get the game a day earlier then the US so digital all the way.

So this year was an get 4 day early acress on the 23rd, does this mean that the pre load will be 2 days before that day the 21st?? Or does it mean can only pre download at midnight on 23rd.

This worries me a little bit.

Pretty positive it pre loads early too. Last game I bought with an early release did this

When you make the purchase (digital, pre order) can you play the game, or do you have to wait until the release date?

Im not at home at the moment but i believe my pre order says it will download on the 21st and be playable on the 23rd

The only reason I still do disc is because I have the Best Buy Gamer's Club and they don't give you the 20% off on the digital downloads
