You can.

You need to press L1/R1 to tab from relievers screen to starters screen.

I really hope they have addressed the CPU putting short relievers in the starting rotation due to injuries while having a spot starter sitting in the minors.

That just annoys me to no end. IDK why it does, but it just does.

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)

It took me YEARS to stumble upon this! I was always so frustrated that the CPU can do it, but I couldn't.

I used to do 4-man rotations all the time, to maximize stats, getting guys 40 starts. Then I'd have one RP who I'd put in when I needed a long man, and he'd end up getting 8+ innings every week too. When playing with NL rules especially, it adds another layer of strategy and challenge to work with.

I recently had a 4-game series where the CPU started game 1 with a short reliever. I knocked him out in the first inning, and absolutely wore out their staff in that game. Led to some hilarity the other three games, and probably a world record for pitching changes.

Re: Four to Six Man Rotations

a few things

4 man is easy to do just don't put anything in the 5th slot

for a 6 man you can do it manually anyway it's easy

and finally that Angels 6 man won't last long, they are full of Injury prone guys and by May they will be back to 5 man, Yankees tried this with tanaka and it failed after about 2 weeks as soon as the first injury happened.
