You can do this.

Re: Four to Six Man Rotations

So from what I'm gathering, four man rotations require manual control of rosters and are thus not possible in RTTS? Pretty disappointing when you spend months building your RTTS pitcher into a stud and then can't use him to maximum effectiveness on the biggest stage.

OK but the OP asked about 4 man rotations and I was just saying it can be done.

You used to be able to manually do a 6 man rotation, but now with morale being a thing it's a lot harder.
Morale doesn't really matter if you manually do this. just simply keep swamping your 6th and 5th starter out of the 5th slot, if they are both listed as a starter it should not effect it to much sure it might drop but will go back up if you keep swapping them around, Morale wont effect a 5th starter to much its' not like you are moving a Ace to the BP

That wouldn't be a 6 man rotation. That would just be swapping who is pitching every 5th game between two guys. Your 1-4 starters would still have the same workload. To do a 6 man rotation, you currently have to move your ace around.

No you don’t, just pick manually before the game starts the 5th slot guy which you swapped with the bp guy before the game,

The game does not force you to use the number 1 slot guy. Hell even on opening day you could pick
Your closer to start a game.

The only downfall
Is it screws the schedule up slightly so it will say you are gonna to face the Ace tomorrow but you really are not.

You just have to manually do this when the 6th day comes around manually. It’s the only way.

You could in theory go through the entire season not even starting your ACE in the 1 spot

That's the worst thing ever in this game, and it seems to happen to at least 1 or 2 teams every year in franchise. One thing you can do though is go in and manually edit that guys stamina to 70+ so he's at least reasonably effective as a starter. Make a note of it somewhere, and when he moves back to the BP you change it back. It's not a perfect solution but without having 30 team control it's all you got.

will the schedule automatically adjust? I'm the type of person who would put in the wrong starter just because it had defaulted to that person.
