Year to Year Players

This will be the first year I carry over my franchise. I am the D-Backs with Archie Bradley who is beardless in the 17 edition. When I carry over the franchise to the 18 edition will his beard be updated or do all the players keep their original start year look?

Not sure but many player are editable so if he doesn't have the look you want you may be able to make the change in the edit screen. Some are not, not sure why.

He will have his beard in '18, or should.

I carried over my Cardinals franchise and Randall Grichuk was updated with longer hair.

Yeah as long as the player got an actual update he will update in the carryover save.

and as long as he is the real player from SCEA from 17, if it was a created player it won't update it has to have the same database number as SCEA

Real players have a code associated with them, so any visual update will be applied to them. However, attributes are unique to your "universe". For example, Arenado is still just a mediocre 3B in my 14 carry over. Always has been, and likely always will be.

Created players will not receive an update, even if they were officially created by SDS over the season. Tanaka is still a created player for me. No visual updates.
