Frame rate seems choppy

Just played a few innings, but the games seems to stutter at times (especially on foul balls). I have a 55 inch LG TV. I think just 1080P? Maybe it’s a 4K. What’s the deal with the Choppy gameplay? Especially since I’m offline. Are there settings I should change in the game? Also, the game didn’t take up the full screen of my TV at first. I had to fix that.

might be the refresh rate on your TV itself.

PS4 Standard or Pro? Huge difference there.

Re: Frame rate seems choppy

Is your game fully installed yet?

Now I'll agree with you that the normal framerate still ain't all that to me. I still prefer Faster much more. I just don't know exactly how choppy it actually is for you.

Re: Frame rate seems choppy

Yeah I've been experiencing is very very bad I have my connection hooked up to my 4K 60 hertz behind my TV and I have to turn it into 1080p mode cuz when playing in 4k with HDR enabled I guess it's really bad stutter and I can't stand to look at it it's so weird I've never had this issue before

Sorry for what I am sure is a dumb question. What is PS4 standard or pro?

Re: Frame rate seems choppy

I didn’t have this frame rate issue with 17. Same TV too.

The PlayStation 4 Pro was a newer model released less than 18 months ago, I believe. Many games are optimized to perform better with its new internal hardware. The Pro offers one to play this game either at 1080p/60FPS, 2160p/30FPS, or 1440p with a framerate that kind of juggles in between (like the game would on any standard PS4 at 1080p, or so it seems).
