So I have a player lock franchise with a center fielder. Last night I played 7 games. I was focusing on the manager hook and Bullpen specifically. My team is the Athletics and I don't think they have a very strong rotation. That is probably the reason why my starter is longest outing through 7 games was 6 and 1/3 majority were four and five.

The CPU pitch count for starters ranged in between 69 and 104 Garrett Richards went 7 and 2/3 on 104. There even was to sequence where they brought in a left-handed pitcher to face my left-handed batter. The next batter was a righty and they brought a righty in to face him in a to run game in the 8th then proceeded to bring in there closer in the 9th. The team I'm talking about is the angels I was taking screenshots I will post them later. The most pictures I seen you through 7 games was by my team and the angels got to a 5 to 1 lead after three innings we proceeded to use 4 Bullpen pitchers the rest of the game

Game 3 vs the Padres.

Anthony Desclafani had a rough go and was lifted after 4 innings. Matt Barnes (LRP) and pitches the 5th. He then comes out and pitches the 6th after a rain delay (he had thrown 18 pitches). During his time on the mound he gave up 2 runs on like 4 hits I believe. In the 7th the Pads get another reliever in (forgot his name..) and then in the 8th they pitched Papelbon.

I think whatever issue there may have been pre-patch, has been cleared up post-patch. Nothing about the Pads use of their bullpen has concerned me. Also keep in mind they, like me, are opening the season by playing 10 days straight, so there is probably going to be times where they leave a pitcher in a batter or an inning longer than normal so that they don't tire out their bullpen.

Advice people change the controller team select and pull the rp problem solved I pretty much manage the CPU bp

He's suggesting that during the game if you feel the CPU isn't managing their bullpen properly, then you can pause the game and switch teams (control the CPU team) and make the necessary pitching moves and then switch back to your team and continue playing.

Ah, ok. Thanks. Makes sense, but (a) kind of a pain in the @ and (b) seems like it wouldn't feel very authentic. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
