Hit By Pitch

Anybody else being hit by pitch a lot? It might be my stance, I'm using Justin Turner tweaked a bit in the creator but it is happening a TON.

I've been hit four times or so, probably a little more often than is realistic. CPU pitchers seem to be missing badly out of the zone more often this year, that might be related. One was also on a check swing and I found last year that moving the feet on a check swing leaves you more vulnerable to a HBP.

And to be clear, I actually like that many CPU pitchers aren't always in the zone or right around it so far. Been very rewarding working counts. Also makes it that much more difficult to change your approach when you face a pitcher who is attacking the zone early.

Well its happening to me at least once almost EVERY GAME. I've been beaned 3 times in one game. Commentator was pretty funny saying he's out to get me or something. Pretty sure its the stance I'm using. So if you want to cheese HBP's use Justin Turners stance. Its kinda annoying though cause its kinda hurting stat potential.
