Can't pinch run since patch?

It wasn't just at third base.
When Maldonado was on first base, I tried to pinch run. It asked me to confirm. I clicked yes. Game came back on and Maldonado was still running. Tried it 3 times, no dice.

I then hit a single and got Maldonado to third. Then an intentional walk to load bases. I then tried to pinch run again. Same exact thing happened.

Its not because of the patch. Like a other poster said, its been in the game for 3 or 4 years now. Its a rare occurance.

Ive had it happen too. I had a situation where EE (was a DH) (Edwin E) got a single with no outs, so I went to pinch him and it did eveything to do the switch except it didnt make the actual switch. Next batter up got walked, so I tried again with EE now on 2nd. Went in to pinch run him, and again it didnt take.

It's just a random bug/glitch that happens from time to time.

It was in last year as well and can happen at any base at any time. It will usually last that entire game but typically resets back to normal in the next game.

I know this might be not what is ideal, but does doing an in game save alleviate this glitch when it's active?

Not being able to put in a pinch runner just happened to me the other day. I was playing my Braves franchise when it happened. I did an in game save and immediately went back into the game and I was able to pinch run.

Same here. Haven't seen it yet, but have at least once in past iterations.
