new to the show and baseball, franchise team

hi

this is the first year I follow the MLB season and also first i i ll play baseball video game since ps2.

I m franchise mode fan and i looking to choose a team but i m not very use to the teams roster so if you guy have to start a franchise and you are looking a team that is not a very good team and also not a very bad, which d you choose?
I was looking at Rockies, brewers or cardinals?
thx

If you want to run a multi-year franchise, you would be better off downloading the OFSM rosters from the vault because the OSFM rosters are based off of real world players in the minor leagues versus the made up players in the default rosters.

With that said, the Rockies are poised to have a good year in 2018 so they may be the least challenging of the three teams mentioned as they are strong on offense, plus defense and have respectable pitching.

rockies for sure, I've played a few seasons with them the last several years (among a handful other teams) & by far the NL west is the most fun AND challenging IMO. Even more than the AL East.

Atlanta Braves would be good for a multi year franchise. They aren’t great right now but have a wealth of young talent in the minors and arguably the best farm system in baseball.

I'd go Padres. They aren't good in real life but they are video game middle of the road. Beautiful ballpark, a lot of different color options. You can be White and Blue, or Yellow and Brown...or Green Camo or Blue Camo, or Blue and orange...you pick! Plus a loaded and stacked farm system. Play in arguably the toughest division in baseball with great pitching.

The Yankees! Start with the greatest team ever. Cant learn baseball history without the most storied franchise. Plus that lineup is so much freaking fun in franchise.
