No Season Mode and Players Out on Waivers During Manual Franchise!

I only played season mode and do not care at all about minor leagues and all that stuff. Now without season mode, I have set everything to manual in a 32 team franchise, but no matter what I do at the end of spring training two Cincinnati pitchers always end up on waivers. I do not want this. How do I prevent it from happening? I only want to be able to put 25 of the guys I want on the MLB roster for all teams and play the season.

You need to cut your roster down to 25 players a few days before the end of spring training. Make sure you have settings to manual so CPU doesn’t override.

The easiest way to do this for ALL teams is to start with a roster that is already a 25 man (like OSFM 1.3 or 1.4). That way there are only 25 players to choose from and the CPU can’t screw things up.

Are you doing 30 team control?

Crap. So I’ll have to do that for 30 teams. I assume I need to cut the 40 man to 25? Any rosters out there that have already done that?

Yes 30 team control. I don’t want any Automatic transactions or trade for anything at all frankly. I just want 25 man on the roster and to play the season.
