Are challeneges still in the game? I havent seen one at first base, and still dont even know if they added the ability to challenege plays other than at first.

Challenges remain unchanged from years past.

They are in the game but only for close plays at first base.

Hmm is it more random this year? Ive had several plays that would surely populate a challenge and got nothing. On previous versions, i had obvious plays the runner was safe or out and still got a challenege prompt. I haven't seen a single one this year.

Honestly, kind of disappointed that the challenges have been in for two years now and still the only one we can do is a close play at first. This is the third year for challenges.

Exactly my thought. I just had a game with two close plays at third that would have definitely warranted a challenege, but instead im at the mercy of the game. Could someone confirm theyve at least seen one at first? Ive played too many games by now to not at least see it once. Especially at the rate i have the past two years.

^I have gotten a handful of challenge opportunities. Like countryboy said, they have all been close plays at first. It's a really wonky system. Even if you decline the challenge it still makes you watch the replay cutscene...Didn't we have a properly functioning challenge system in past games?

well it has changed a little....was just able to challenge a call on a double play which you couldn't do in any other version if I am not mistaken but still all at first base... Sure would be nice if could challenge calls at every base

That is a nice change. I too wish you could challenge every base. There are times where I get caught stealing where the replay shows I in fact beat the tag and throw.
