Forgot to start and quit first game bug

I remember this from past versions but I've started numerous chises this year including 2 with the Cubs and I haven't had to do anything but hit play next game on the franchise home menu.

Guess you just got unlucky.

Something cause it definitely happened. I'll play game 2 and hope it's gone...

This is a complete long shot, but if it shows in game 2 you could try saving that game and exiting then reloading into that game and see if that helps.

You have to play out the first at bat of every game on the schedule (league schedule) then sim the rest of the games. Then go play your team's game. Should fix the problem. It sucks cause almost every team plays on the 1st day lol.

Do you do this every time you start a chise or just if that problem pops up?

Haven't had it be a problem this year?

OP did you start the game from the calender or the home menu?

Usually when you first start your franchise. If you haven't encountered the problem then you should be fine.
