Or there is a 3 run bomb by the home team and nobody reacts?

Hilarious.
I always thought it was funny when the crowd would stand up after a pickoff at first. They have toned it down. In some situations they don't have them stand at all. I think they finally caught on. LOL!!!

Re: Commentary repetition

Not sure if you guys are aware but Nicky Delmonico has "sneaky pop"

In the 3rd game of a 4 game series with the White Sox and I swear Vasgergan has said that every single time he comes to the plate!

Commentary repetition

Notable when Matt mentions where a player is from and where he was drafted (very cool), the next line is invariably one of maybe three options, two of which involve how that player is not a superstar.

That bit should really just end after Matt’s done. “... was a fifth-round pick in the 2009 draft .... here’s the pitch” would be fine. Instead homeboy rambles on about “I wouldn’t put him in the superstar category, but to put in the work he has and make it all the way to the majors ....” or whatever is just worthless filler.

Yeah, I feel like that last bit would fit better in RTTS, so long as you only heard once every 10-15 games.

Re: Commentary repetition

Glad I don't play with the Cubs because if I did I would have to demote Ian Happ from the 25 man MLB roster because I am tired of hearing that he is a Pittsburgh native. I mean really ... saying it once or twice is fine. But saying it every time the guy comes to the plate or fields the ball makes me want to jump off of a bridge.

Re: Commentary repetition

The deeper I am getting in Franchise the better the commentary and dynamic storylines are getting.

And on the other hand If I have to hear about the Judges Chambers one more time.......lord give me strength.
