Commentary repetition

So, I stumbled upon this thread (and this forum) via Google search with no intent to bump it (or even registering for that matter). I just happened to notice the post about sending Ian Happ down to AAA because of the commentary and thought it was funny with that happening (sans reasoning) in real life unexpectedly.


But since I brought the subject back to the forefront, the reason I was doing the search in the first place is that I was trying to figure out why they kept saying "vero" and was wondering if that was some nickname for one of the commentators I never heard of.



It took me a bit but on my own accord realized "duh, he's saying Dee-Ro for DeRosa". But even realizing what he's really saying I still swear it sounds like "veero".
