One thing I can definetely tell you to do is to turn your swing feedback off cause all that checking to see if you made good, or, late, or early timing is giving you way too much to think about.

Plus it's not necessary it's fairly easy to tell if you were on it, early, or late. And if you can't tell without the feedback you have bigger recognition problems than I can help with.

I’ve got a slightly different problem. JD is driving in a lot of runs for me but I can’t buy a hit with Mookie! Sometimes I think you just don’t gel with a batting animation. I’m giving Mookie one more series then I may tinker slightly with his stance and swing as I have done with players who weren’t working for me in previous versions of the game.

JD IS BACK!!! 4 homers, 6 doubles, and he's all of a sudden "on fire" after the past 10 games or so. Average is up over .200!!! :-).


I'm sitting right around .300 with Mookie. I find that when I stay up the middle with him, he gets most of his hits. The only homers I hit with him are hanging breaking balls.

Good to see it’s working out for you! JD has certainly made the Red Sox a fun team to play with. Recently had a 3 Homer game with him. Mookie has turned the corner as well. Broke the drought with a lucky inside the park home run that just cleared the CF and bounced 30 metres away after it hit the fence. I love this game!

I had the same issue with Ender Inciarte through the first like 30 games. I was hitting .097 with him at that point. After another months worth of games, though, I brought his average back up to a solid .290.

JD's a mainstay in my current DD lineup. I usually sub him late in the game for fielding considerations, but man does he hit the ball hard.
