    3 options I can offer

    * Trade away high salary player for lower salary return

    * Win more to get more fans in the seat

    * Obtain sponsorships and meet the criteria to get paid (unless something has changed the CPU does not take advantage of this opportunity so you would have an advantage on them)

Hope one or all of these help.

Any additional questions let us know
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

If you employ 30 team control you simply can assign sponsorships for every team.

I determine how many silver, gold or diamond I assign based on market size.

        Oakland? No diamonds.

New York? All diamonds etc etc.

But you are correct. In single team the CPU does not use them.

If you set it to ignore budget in franchise do you still get to see the team budget so you can try to keep everything below budget yourself?

They just need to get rid of "cash flow." Really has turned out to be a nightmarish decision on their part to add the weekly budget stuff when nobody was complaining about having a yearly budget in the first place. How many of these "I am confused about cash flow/I can't sign free agents" threads appear each year now? 50? 100?

I mean of all the areas in which Franchise mode could be made better, they went and did this. lol. Remember, they are trying to make things simpler for us after all, right?

Yes that is actually a good way of doing this.

I did set sponsorships to help but also the Giants who started the year with negative cash flow are now in the black as they are sitting in first place. I'm not sure what i'll be able to do for the Red Sox though in the middle of the AL East with -170 K/week and some massive contracts.
