Franchise Trades

Is it just me or is it a lot harder to trade this year? I'm almost to the all star break and I'm trying to move a few players. I tried the suggested trades for 3 different players. All mid to late 20s, B potential, low to mid 70s overall and I'm getting zero interest from any team. I haven't had any problems moving guys in years past.

Re: Franchise Trades

Only problem I'm having is trying to trade guys I've recently signed off the free agent market. Like Tony Zych. I signed him and he's just not happy with his contract (even though he's the one who signed it) so I tried trading him but I get no offers when I try. Other than that I haven't had any problems.

I believe there is a window of time that has to pass before you can trade someone who just signed.

So I signed Tony Zych at the beginning of the season, well the beginning of spring training and I was able to trade him on April 15th. So I'm not sure if the clock starts from the day I signed him or from the day the official season started.
