Patch 1.08 Frame Rate issues

Anyone else notice any drop or inconsistencies in the frame rate since this latest patch? I'm getting poor frames regularly now while hitting and pitching which makes it almost unplayable.

Not for me. Running better than ever. I'm on a Pro and 4k.

Also on a Ps4 pro, I thought it's been smoother than ever since the patch. Maybe you should try reinstalling it.

Agree with the last two posts that I haven't had framerate problems at any point this year, running on a Pro in "Faster" (high frame rate) mode. If you're using the standard PS4, frame rates can fluctuate depending on the stadium - MMP and Rogers were two of the worst in my experience with Show '16, where this was an unavoidable problem.

Try playing a game at Kauffman Stadium and see if you have any issues - that's one stadium I never had problems with. I'm not saying you should play all your games there or anything, but it will help narrow down the cause.

I've been having a few frame rate issues (Don't have a pro yet).

When I'm pitching, if I pick a pitch and it lags a bit, I just wait for a second and
everything seems to catch up.

When I'm hitting and it seems like it's about to happen, I either call time or take a little practice swing to hold the pitcher up for a second.

Neither of these are ideal solutions, but it's the best I can do until I get a pro.

The only time I really notice anything is when the catcher throws the ball back to the pitcher. I figure it does that because it's a slower throw than the one he receives.

Hmm, I play o the pro at 4k and had some slow downs prior to patch in pitching view at Oakland but that was it. Now I get it both in pitcher and batter views at all stadiums.

Would reinstalling actually help? Will that erase saves?

Before doing something that drastic, go to audio/video options in the user settings, make sure it's set on the same profile you use in-game. If it's Sharper or Balanced, put it on Faster and see if that fixes the problem. Most of us framerate junkies on this board use Faster even if we have the TV to support the higher options.

You can change this option during a game too, if you want.

I’ve always had framerate issues at Rogers and MMP.
