Hitting Pitchers

Why does it seem like every CPU pitcher turns into Pete Rose at the plate? And I mean their hitting ability, not a crappy gambler with bad hair. I could mow down the first 8 batters without any problems but the pitcher will somehow find a way to get a hit.

I've had that issue as well. I'm playing with a AL team now so I don't deal with it much. Maybe I was less precise with my pitches while facing the pitchers? It sure was frustrating though.

I had a 16 game hitting streak snapped during my last game while their starting pitcher was 2-2. Talk about frustrating hahaha.

Re: Hitting Pitchers

Funny you mention that....seems like it is easier to hit with pitchers than some of these weaker hitting players too....they seem to make just the right amount of contact and power to dump hits in to the OF....

Ireland's own George 'Herman' O'Tani.
He can do it all: pitch every 7th day, just like they do in Japan. Women want him, men want to be him. He's so fast he plays pitcher & catcher at the same time, freeing up his team to play with 5 infielders & a perpetual shift. He is the most interesting man in my imagination. Stay thirty my friend.
