Why is AI changing other teams lineups?

I have CPU roster control off. I have everything on manual with all teams controlled by me. So why does it change my opponents lineups? It doesn't change my lineup.

And it has nothi9ng to do with substitutions.

Because CPU Roster Control ON means you control the other teams rosters.
CPU Roster Control OFF means the CPU controls the other teams rosters. Counterintuitive but that's how it is.

With CPU Roster Control On, can you control all teams?

Sorry, but I am totally confused on this. With CPU Roster Control On, trading is disabled, budgets and injuries will be ignored, So no trading? No budgets? And no injuries?

And I control all lineups?

Yes. You can make the
trades for all teams. CPU won’t do anything unless you initiate it. Now, that will not stop the CPU from changing lineups occassionally to rest tired players, so you may see some different lineups from other teams you play at times.

Okay, but what about budgets, will there be budgets in effect?

Somebody else might answer that, but I think budgets might be ignored. You could trade Stanton from the Yanks for a minor leaguer. It was put into the game for those who want to see the real life trades during the season and keep rosters 100% accurate.
