Re: Batter's Eye

I can't hit at KC's park during the day at all. Always make it rainy or overcast when i play there

Re: Batter's Eye

If I could have one wish for the Show...out of pure selfishness....it would be to be able to make all games appear as night games when I play.

It is better since I have gotten glasses, but, I have sensitive eyes and day games really limit the amount of games I can play.

Re: Batter's Eye

Used to be Cleveland for me, I couldn't see **** there. Not as bad on this year's version.

You can always go for the next best and play a summer of cloudy or rainy conditions like me. I made the mistake of playing a sunny afternoon game at Fenway the other day and at one stage with the sun reflecting off the back wall it was virtually a white ball against a white wall.

Using Fish Eye, Houston in the evening. The windows in the back behind the outfield are hard on my eyes. I just don't see the ball until it's on the plate. It's made for a few interesting poorly timed hits though, haha.

Re: Batter's Eye

I use the view over the plate when I’m batting and except for miller park I don’t really have an issue with the batters eye. I guess the view reminds me of World Series baseball from the Sega Genesis days, but it works well.

Re: Batter's Eye

I find Fenway tough during 1:00 sunny games around the 7th inning when the shadows cover the area just in front of the plate. I'm sure IRL players do too!

Re: Batter's Eye

Totally agree with Miller Park. Like was said, under the wrong conditions, hitting can be impossible when its sunny. Its not the batter's eye for me though, just the shadows and the sun around home plate. However, when its dark or cloudy, its probably one of the places I hit the very best. Huge variance.

I was thinking about the sun reflecting off of the batter's eye in a few other parks, and how it made it awful for me a few weeks ago. I think Petco was one. Unlike seemingly everyone else though, I really enjoy hitting at Safeco, day or night. I rarely have any trouble.
