Batter's Eye

I have the HARDEST time hitting at Atlanta when the game time is 7pm and sunny as the batter's eye is both bright from the sun and dark from the shadows so the ball coming from the pitcher's hand is so difficult to pick up. Seattle is another biggie that's hard for me to hit well.

Anybody else have difficulty hitting at some parks because of this?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Miller Park is horrible. Haven’t tried playing there on this years version, but I struggled last year. I think it is when the roof is open at 7 pm games but there is a point where the ball seems to disappear in the lights and shadows.

Miller Park, but real players say that they struggle there because of the same issue in real life.

Safeco has been a complete nightmare for me if it isn't night.

Re: Batter's Eye

Most of my season is played in cloudy/rainy conditions. Must be setting some sort of weather records

Re: Batter's Eye

This is one of those things where realism gets in the way of gameplay. I do not want to play a video game where I can't see what I am doing. It leads to eye strain and frustration.

They seem to have gotten better with the batters eye in some places over the years. I used to dread the trees in Cleveland. Couldn't see the ball in them at all. I hated the yellow line at the Dbacks stadium. It was to bright or something and I would lose the ball when it crossed it.

I think people's TVs and settings can make a difference too so it isn't always the easiest thing for them to make right for everyone.
