Re: Keeping the legacy going

I started to make Pete Rose Jr last night but then recalled Pete Rose Jr actually played in the minors and may have even made a brief appearance in Cincinnati. So I canned that idea, although I really want to add a Pete Rose spawn.

One guy I've thought about is Lance Berkman. To my knowledge he doesn't have a son currently in professional baseball.

I saw Pete Jr occasionally, as he was the manager of the Wichita Wingnuts, and they came to town to play in our ballpark. I don't think he would mind going back into the majors on your game! (Or you could make his hard-playing fictional younger brother River Rose [named after Riverfront Stadium])

Re: Keeping the legacy going

I used to do this all the time in NCAA Football, by creating fictitious brothers/children.

The closest I've gotten to keeping a legacy going is renaming the SS I drafted Pablo Sanchez. I didn't even need to change his stance.

I just may need to fine-tune his power, only hits for average right now.

Re: Keeping the legacy going

Another thread bump...

I have been running with this idea

Thus far I have:

Ken Griffey III (yes stole him kenp66 )
Kirby Puckett Jr
Joshua Petitte
Todd Helton Jr
R.D Sandberg
Ryan Howard Jr

I have a lot of juniors....LOL...because I can't think of a good sounding name.

I'm adding more.

Fixxed lol
there needs to be a slot for nick names so Vasgersian can call certain players that. Ryan Howards sons nickname would be Opie lol

EDIT and I meant sometimes he's referred to by his real name and other times his nickname
