Unable to undo dumb trades.

I run a 30-team franchise (controlling the Cubs), and lately I’ve noticed that many times I’m unable to undo dumb trades the CPU makes. Even when I go in and switch the team profiles to, “manual,” trading, often times I’m unable to reverse trades.

Sometimes I just let it slide, but this one kind of has me frustrated. The Astros traded an A prospect (forget his name, but young RF) to the Cardinals for Michael Wacha. First of all, the Astros don’t need Michael Wacha, and what’s worse, they have him in Triple-A. I even tried to mess with ratings a little to make the trade more, “even.” I tried proposing the trade back as both the Cardinals and the Astros. I moved both players to the Majors and proposed the trade. I can’t think of anything else to try to be honest which is why I’m posting it here. I’ve never noticed this happening in any other, older versions of The Show.

Anyone have a solution to this? I’d really like to get Wacha back on St. Louis, especially since the Cardinals are a division rival for me and we play all the time.

Yeah I've got a dumb trade I need to find a way to undo in the off season because I didn't notice it until after the trade deadline. I don't have 30 team control so I'm going to need to involve the team I control to make it a three team trade. The Phillies, who are 17 games under.500 and 21.5 games out of first traded Rhys Hoskins to Houston for Ken Giles and a two month rental of Dallas Keuchal

Well, it’s one thing to not have 30-team control, but I do. And I still can’t reverse the trade. It’s pretty ridiculous.

Does everything look good budget-wise? Have the cardinals added any salary since the trade and adding Wacha back will push them over budget?

It does look like there might be budget issues. But I don’t understand because I’m trying to reverse it immediately. I haven’t waited more than a day in the season so there’s no way other moves have been made.

Using player search can override the trade deadline. Just search that player and “trade for.”

Worked in 17.

It’s not a trade deadline issue. It’s just that neither team will accept the trade.

Yea I have had same problem in my 30 team control franchise with budgets ignored.....I just had to set waivers to manual for every team and put the players on waivers and placed claim on them with team they were originally with...
