    Sac bunts counting as at-bats?

Am I missing something, a sac bunt (a successful one) should not count as an at-bat, correct? I just laid one down with Lester and noticed that it show's he's 0-for-1 on the game.

You have to show bunt really early otherwise from some reason the game doesn’t count it as a sacrifice.

Hmmm. Interesting. It was definitely a sac, but I guess that makes sense for why it would have counted it as an at-bar. I could swear that it didn’t always do that. I just noticed it this time with Lester when he came up to bat the second time it said he was 0-for-1.

If the official scorer believes you are bunting for a hit he will not score it a sacrifice. You didn’t square up properly. Bunting needs some work in the game, but I believe that’s your reason.

While true in real life, this game has never had any random scorers decision logic like the situation mentioned above built in. The coding logic for that would be impossible.

However, without the OP giving us any actual insight to the rest of the play or situation it's really impossible to give any insight.

I squared around. Sac bunt, not a drag. Go to the 14:20 mark...

The ONLY thing I can come up with is that I didn't square around before the pitcher began his delivery. Just slightly after he started his motion. I wonder if it assumes an attempt to reach base that way. I'll square around before the delivery next time.

Weird, too because it says, "score that play, sacrifice, 3-unassisted." But then Lester is 0-for-1.
