    Changes to Marlins Park

I'm sure the developers are aware of these type of things but I figured I'd post this here just in case. Marlins are changing the OF walls from green to blue and replacing the HR sculpture with the "Social Space". I have to say I like the changes they are making and I think they will look great in MLB The Show 19.

When I play Braves @ Marlins, I've elected to play it at Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphin/Sun Life Stadium the last couple years. With that eyesore in the outfield removed, I look forward to playing at Marlins Park again in 2019.

My franchise team is the Marlins, so I’m definitely counting on the changes. I won’t miss the sculpture the game didn’t do anything fun with it.

The good thing is they announced the changes early. Now there’s no excuse for the changes not making it into next year’s game.

Even when teams announce stuff late SDS usually still has them in the game. New alternate jersey get announced a lot in mid January and are always included.

Teams probably give SDS stadium/logo/uniform changes before made public.

              That's it.

OLD MIAMI is the name of the park that Caufield is talking about.

I personally liked the outfield walls and home run sculpture, made the park interesting IMHO.

There is a cutoff date for certain things making it into the game though. I remember two year's ago I asked if Mike Piazza's retired number would make it into MLB 17 and one of the developers said it was too late in the development cycle to make changes to the stadium.

Yeah some stuff may get announced too late, LA Angels made changes to RF wall that didn’t make it in the game this past year.

It’s probably on the teams end for not letting SDS know.

Which leads me to wonder how sony has the rights to likeness of the stadium but not the name, I think its HardRock stadium for the time being

I wouldn't blame one or the other. I think SDS should contact all 30 teams at the end of the season to see if there are any changes planned for the stadiums. Teams should also share the info as soon as it's been decided on. Sometimes teams make changes really late though and that's not SDS's fault.

Man I’m excited for this Marlins rebrand. They teased that blue and I’m really hoping for Miami Vice colors. Those Heat jerseys are beautiful and the Marlins would look amazing with a similar scheme.

Teal, Orange, Black, and White appear to be the colors. New uniforms and colors to be officially revealed tomorrow.

So excited about all this news, but I'll kinda miss those neon green walls. They really popped on TV. But so excited to finally get a chance to rebuild the Marlins and not play in a stupid looking stadium with stupid looking uniforms. The uniforms were the main reason I've never done a Marlins franchise since they changed uniforms and I never did one before on the old stadium because the old stadium was horrible to play in with all those empty seats.
