Any word if they put season mode back in 19

People are speculating that their 'new' mode called March to October is some kind of season mode.
But no confirmation as of yet...

If March to October is a season type mode, I hope seasons can be set to shorter lengths like previously. My only reason for a short season is for extracting service time out of players quicker. That in itself isnt a good reason to have short seasons but for people who dont have as much time to invest in a season is, and I get the happy by-product from it
