Can you go from 17 to 19? I think when 17 came out there was the issue that if you had not played a season that you could not carry the player over until you had.

I always assumed it was because RTTS was not equipped to go back in time prior to the current year.

I transferred to 18 and am in year 2 so I am sure it will transfer to 19.

I should have clarified it on my previous post.

Anytime your team acquires a player with a similar number (and ratings don't matter) you are moved to the next highest number. I just can't handle it. I can't believe it's been in the game forever, too. Especially considering you look at the back of your player (75% of the time).

I've actually only seen that if you have the same jersey number as a retired number for that team. My favorite number is 21 and the only time I have seen that number switching thing is when my RttS player was on the Braves.
