lol for every one decent move, the CPU does something outrageous. I simmed through a season out of boredom last night and boy was it something. First of all, Bryce Harper sat in the FA pool the entire season, and Miami of all teams signed him to a 6 year, 50 million dollar in the offseason. I can't even get mad. It was pretty hilarious.

Turn off budgets and FA becomes alot more realistic IMO.

^I'll definitely be turning it off if the budget system is the same as last year. I don't understand why they made it so unnecessarily complicated to figure out how much money you can spend.

If Machado had signed w/San Diego in my Showniverse before it had happened IRL, I'd said that'll never happen IRL lol
I really thought he was going big market. Not a Padres fan but glad to see a market like SD get a player of his caliber. Guess he really took to sunny southern Cali.

Harper just signed 9 years 200+ with Boston in my franchise. This is going to give me nightmares now.

I doubt it. At this point, he's anchored the team for years.

Also, in my universe, the Yankees are a joke. He really is their only good player. They invested almost totally in youth and a lot of it didn't pan out.

Team disparity is a big problem in my carry over universe. It's starting to get better, but it's been about 4 in game seasons of the same 4 teams being the only competitive ones.
