Legend at pitch speed 10

What a rush, you really have to concentrate and have the instinct of a cat. I'm averaging 7 hits a game which seems pretty realistic and very rewarding, last year at legend at pitch speed at 10 I could make pitches out pretty well but this year it's a challenge. Usually last year I would be watching TV in the background while playing on my monitor, now I have to have all my concentration on the game and block out outside distraction. Good job SDS.

Playing at legend as well. But first 3 games I've played CPU came back on all in the late innings. I took the lead they come back and win. But still enjoying the challenge

I've been playing on legend pitching / batting with default sliders and really enjoying it. Although I did try turning the pitching sliders on max, and while still playable, it just takes to much concentration for me personally.

You're playing at pitch speed 5? 5 seems to be like last year's 10. This year's 10 is insane, I might have to lower it [emoji848]

Yea 10 is insane this year. always play with it maxed and hit just fine.

I maxed it out this year could barely get a hit. Normal is fine with me for now lol.

In previous years this forum had some inside info on the equation for the pitch speed slider and which mph each level is set to convey. Sounds fascinating this year.

I've been messing around today on legend pitching / batting with both pitch sliders maxed and I'm somewhat starting to get used to it. I just played a random game with the A's at home against Seattle. I lost 1-0 but I got 7 hits. I played using classic / directional with a clean screen. I struck out 11 times but I swear half of those were because I suck at check swinging regardless of the difficulty. Anyway, it was a fun game. I still think I'm more suited to play at default legend, max speed pitching ain't no joke. If you blink it's already too late.

It takes some real balls to hit on pitch speeds at 10 on Legend this year, I've only played about 3 games so far but it seems like it could be doable. I feel myself having to predict a fast ball is coming based on the count or patterns that the AI is giving away. Not only is it concentration for the pitch speed/reaction but how the AI is working you....you need all cues/luck and if I had like 4 hours sleep the night before forgetit.
