Shareplay disabled?!

Since patch release, it is no longer possible to play the game with a friend via shareplay.
Has the feature been disabled?
Sunday evening we could still play via Shareplay without any problems and suddenly we couldn't play any more?
He always says that we have to be in the same region.

But MLB The Show 17 still works without problems

Does anyone still have the same problems?

Always play a franchise with my buddy via Shareplay -.-

We'll have to wait for comment from the developers. The patch notes show nothing on the matter, however.

That would be a shame if they removed it. The only other game I've certain has done this is the recent COD games, and their publisher (Activision) certainly doesn't have the customer's best interest in mind.

Madden did this one year as well.

Isn’t The Show quite laggy on Shareplay tho? I tried it a couple years ago and it wasn’t very fun as you had to swing so early, which I guess is similar to how The Show actually played online for years, so maybe people are used to it.

Well, I tried it once when I had 12MB/s download speed and <1MB/s upload speed. Now that I am on much faster speeds, I should try it out with somebody else... if in fact it works and hasn't been removed.

No, we had a good connection!
Can‘t understand whats happened. On Sunday we played without any problems.

17 still works, so the dev must have screwed up.
But I don‘t know why :-(

Even on local Remote Play the slight lag is too much for me, but hats off to you for making it work. Hope they fix it for ya.

We actually used share play last 2 years not laggy at all. Yes u need both have at least 50 and up internet speed the better the connection better the graphics. If your on old ps4 share play will be viewed only in 720p. If your on PS4 PRO it will be 1080p.

Now the key to having it play correctly you half to turn pitch speed to 0 for both but while using share play pitch at 0 looks like regular default so don't think it's crazy slow it's not.

But hitting is improved not to bad latency etc if u play on default but pitch speeds half to be turned to 0.

I have great share-play sliders.

Anyways this will be bad if share play is now locked for this game.

The German Playstation Support told me that Shareplay for The Show 19 is currently regionally restricted.


So I have to go back to the Devs and see why and if they're releasing it.
