How do you play games in your franchise?

Play every game? 1st gams of series?

I have always rotated starting pitchers so I play once every 6 games but looking to add to that by installing a new method. Was thinking of player locking the games in between?

I play every single game from Spring Training until my season is over. I also play the minor league All-Star games and the Futures Game.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I play every 6 like you, and quick manage the ones in between

I like that idea. I was thinking of quick manage or player lock the games between?

There use to be an MLB wheel someone made that you spun and told you what to do. Might need to find that again lol.

I sim Spring Training and play every game during the regular season with quick counts on. The results have been over 1800 games played spanning MLB 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. Its been a blast.

I don't play Spring Training but I do play most of the games. Depending on how much time I have I'll either play the full game or "Quick Manage" every other inning.

Every pitch of every MLB game, quick manage with the rare step in and play a play with my minors.

For the spring, I'll play every pitch until the moment my team is locked in for the start of the season. That usually takes most of spring, but I've had it happen as early as half way through.

I'd be way more into spring training of there were more than 2 spring training stadiums. I do use a few minor league stadiums for varieties sake but it's still not enough. The real reason I want a stadium creator: so I can make more spring training fields.

I do the play every 6 games too. Rotate through the rotation. I usually sim all of spring training too, I am also trying to come up with a new way to play, try to get more immersed into the season.

Possibly player lock or just quick manage everything in between. I play with moments on as well so will get into some more games that way.

Sim spring training, play one game a series, play every game in the post season if I make it.

Every pitch of the MLB regular / post season. Usually play one or two Spring training games to get acclimated.

                          Player Lock + New Experience

I play my Franchise as a Player Locked Short Stop, I would cut my franchise short because of either lack of features in the game mode or issues with the gameplay.

In MLB 19 some of the issues I have with gameplay were slightly improved but not all. To help me play the Franchise Game Mode deeper this time around. Most notably the CPU base running.

                          CPU Base Running

CPU base runner’s appear to be tracking the ball and I have seen several occasions where they will circle the bag at 2nd or 3rd base where as in previous iterations they would have kept going and would have been thrown out by a mile.

                          Defense Controls
As a Player Locked Short Stop I feel the controls allow a lot more range than in previous years. I play the ball off the bat every pitch! So I am actually trying to play defense in this game. Some short coming in MLB 19 are the ability to cover the bag and tag! CPU jogging into second while play is still active and not being able to apply or attempt a tag. Cut Off throws from the outfield and being able to position yourself organically and not been over thrown by the CPU.

                          A New Player Lock Experience,

I have experienced this in all versions of the show. When you play as a Player Locked player. The CPU will try to put you into moments to where you will be the hero! Most notably when batting and the game going to 10+ innings until you get a key or drive in the winning run. Yes this still exist in MLB 19 I play the game way above average so I know it’s a fact. I also feel that this is loosely how “Critical Moments” was created but that’s for a different time and thread.

So to alleviate the problem of the CPU pushing the game into 10+ innings and waiting for you to make that critical hit or play!

I created a very deep and non super star focused team in my franchise. Guys who can steal bases, are good contact hitters and can become the future Superstars of the team. As I want to be more of a player that fits on the team opposed as the Super Star of the team.

This has been a FUNexperience! As I feel I am apart of a team and not the focus! The games outcomes are not dependent on me but are dependent on the performance of the team. I get more late inning come back games. More players attempting steals! Even though I would love to see 3rd base stolen as well as home! So overall much more FUN!

                          Scouting and Drafting

In short I pass this up! I set my team’s roster up at every position from MLB to the A minor league. If this had a import/export draft class feature like NBA 2k. I would probably use it. I don’t

I play every game, every AB pitching and hitting from spring through to the end.
