That makes sense

Vision: Expands the PCI, increases chances of making contact with the ball.
Discipline: Ability to check swing
Clutch: Helps in clutch situations(?). I consider it a counter to pitcher clutch.

So yeah these are important in a varying degree. I consider vision highly important.
I second this, vision is the most important of the 3. I feel it helps more in all hitting situations than anything else.

I believe if your player has really high discipline then they will check a normal or contact swing automatically if you (the user) are trying to swing at something way off the plate.

And if you're trying to check your swing, it's more likely to work if you have a player with high discipline.

(although if you're doing a power swing, I think you're screwed even with Discipline of 99, and the ball bouncing before the plate...…)

Re: Vision / Discipline / Clutch

Using directional, I successfully checked a power swing (square) with Acuna Jr. I was mind blown because I didn't think you could check a power swing.

Re: Vision / Discipline / Clutch

I have absolutely nothing to back it up but I’m a big believer in the clutch rating regardless of the situation. Placebo maybe.

Re: Vision / Discipline / Clutch

Vision: controls the height of the PCI (width is controlled by contact), launch angles, PCI placement (directional/cpu), and foul vs swing and miss odds.

Discipline - power = check swing ability.

Clutch has a very minor impact in key situations.
