Historic stuff in season opener

White Sox 2019 season opener at KC Royals, All-Star default batting and pitching, Ridin's rosters.

I take Wellington Castillo, C 5-5, for 5HR and 9RBI

5 at-bats, 5 home runs.

Couldn't believe it. It's MLB history, according to the announcing crew. No player in the majors has ever done it before. Castillo even came out of the dugout to tip his cap to the KC crowd. 😀

I won that game 16-0, (on 19 hits) while throwing a complete-game 3-hitter with Ervin Santana. For me, on All-Star, this is unheard of. I've played a couple dozen games on All-Star so far this year, and they were absolutely nothing like this. The next game in the series was a 5-4 nail-biter. I guess I was just dialed in. Might have been the iced coffee.

It was fun, though. Definitely won't forget that one. 👍

5 taters ! ? ! ? must be ped'ing again lol

great nickname, ' Beef ' . been a fan of the Show's version of Castillo last couple of years now , first in Baltimore & then a return to Chi-Town . like him hella better than Matt Wieters & hated seeing Castillo leave the O's but I was glad to see him go to a team I play with a lot .

Re: Historic stuff in season opener

That’s actually pretty awesome to do. I remember a few years ago I did the same with Konerko and couldn’t believe it. I also have a really good feeling while Castillo hits, and I think it’s just his stance and swing just feel very smooth and easy to hit with in The Show. I’ve always done well with him.

One thing that drives me nuts with Castillo though is that they refer to him as “Casilla” when he is on base or they’re talking about a statistic of his. I’m not sure how that got screwed up, but it was like that last year and is still like it in this year’s.

Im sorry but i think its ridiculous to ask for someone's SS# on here...without getting at least two other forms of identification. We are going to need two credit cards, a picture i.d. (not a school i.d.), a utility bill, and two years of tax records. (Please make sure the credit cards are open and not maxed out).

Spoiler
