I remember a thread a while back but wanted to bring this idea up....does anyone play franchise with letting the CPU control ur user roster decisions?

So basically you control coaching task only.

Wouldnt this simulate a relationship between GM and coach as well as level the field as far as trades made by the AI, signings and releases.

In theory it's a fun idea, and would be somewhat similar to a coaching version of RTTS, the problem is that the CPU roster management AI is friggin' horrible.

Trade logic sucks. The realistic contracts are a great idea, but were poorly instituted apparently. And at the end of the day, you'll have a roster with a something foolish like a 10 man bullpen, or 4 catchers, since they just call up the top rated players.

I don't think I could go back from 30 team control.

I'm a weird dude who takes it a few steps further and sets the CPU to control everything even the play on the field. LOL.
