Defensive Shifts In The Show Broken?

I just noticed that I'm either never given time to move into defensive position before a pitch, or I'm just flat out not in position for extreme shifts. I'm a third baseman. What's going on??

Yes this is a problem, has been for years. But fixing it would require SDS to actually listen to fan feedback. There are several bugs that have existed for YEARS that go unchanged.
