Opinions and Ideas for Franchise

Well, Franchise Mode could be a go with the next patch so, I'd like to get some opinions on how to play the mode.

My thoughts were:

1. Play with everything set to "auto". This means I have to live with whatever moves the AI makes for my team. I like this idea because it means I have to react to more of the story line than actually write it. The one lacking element is that I'd have to make the on-field-in-game decisions myself. The manager only sets the lineups unless there's something I don't know.

2. Play as only a minor league team. Again, everything on Auto, but I just play as the AAA affiliate. I had this idea for NHL because some the Broadcast cams in the NHL arenas are too difficult to play with, but with the very limited amount of faces, playing in the AHL is just not immersive enough (actually, neither is the NHL).

I'd also like to hear some thoughts on Dynamic difficulty or Legend/Legend?

I know it might sound off to do this, but what I have been doing is when I'm in the field, I player lock the pitcher. When I am at bat, I player lock each batter when they are at bat. It is a lot of pausing, but the CPU makes all the decisions on pinch hitters, runners, and when to change pitchers. Might want to try it out.

So by player locking, the AI makes the decisions? Yeah, it sounds like a lot of work and then I wouldn't get to field? I'll have to try it for a game or two.

I want more stat pages, better award tracking, listing the teams a player was on in a year he was traded, better coaching system, better scouting system, and more robust draft classes.

I swear by Dynamic Difficulty (its the greatest DD experience the Show has to offer IMO) - I like to turn cpu sliders to as hot as I can stand and rinse it off with human sliders as cold as I can take. I aspire to one day be good enough to play with my sliders on Legend. maybe when I grow up lol

Do you adjust the sliders when you use Dynamic Difficulty?

What is "DD experience"? Do you play Franchise mode with dynamic difficulty?

dd is dynamic difficulty (as opposed to diamond dynasty)
I always use dynamic difficulty and i set cpu sliders like contact power timing control consistency and the like to 8 or 9 and its human slider counterparts to 2. I'm a glutton for punishment lol

Alright, so do you find realistic results with this method of yours?
