Catcher Missing Tags

Okay, I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or not, but I have yet to have my catcher tag out a base runner at the plate, no matter how early the throw is there.

I just had an instance where Acuna hit a line drive down the 3rd base line and my LF Daniel Robertson missed it which gave Acuna the Green light to head home, Robertson did a good job of getting it in, and Donaldson my 3rd baseman has a cannon of an arm.

The throw was there about 5 seconds earlier than Acuna, Acuna dives to the right of the plate and Posey misses him.

This is a recurring issue. I’ve yet to see Posey, or any catcher, tag out a player at the plate and I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, I’m moving the left stick toward the player. Do I need to dive toward the player?
